Background

Video monitoring system is need to provide uninterrupted dynamic information change of areas, such as tunnel, intersection, toll gate, turning, accident prone area. Deploying such large scale video monitoring control system requires the knowledge of network infrastructure and communication. Solution

IS3000 full gigabit switch, mounted at video monitoring points of every intersection, to make a ring Ethernet, up-link core switch of control center, the core switch is IS6000 series, multiple ports L-3 switch. Every monitoring pole mounted with IS1000 series DIN rail switch, IS1000 is unmanaged DIN rail slim switch, small size, high cost performance, cameras linked with IS1000 by cable, IS1000 linked with convergence IS3000 by fiber. Every IS3000 switches make redundant ring network through fiber ports, redundant links can meet the requirement of large scale video data transmission. Switch with the functions of tag VLAN and IGMP snooping. tag VLAN marks on every frame, and then send video to regulated destination VLAN, so no need to configure video stream at every physical port, save processing capability up to higher transmission efficiency. in addition, IGMP snooping by means of removing multicast blocking, to reduce produce of multicast messages,. Due to the wide range, many road periods, Primestone suggests to adopt 100M video acquisition, gigabit fiber port to make converge and backbone network at access layer, and ERPS protection, recovery time <20ms, ensured that video data fluent transmission, and zero package lost.
